Adobe Acrobat is widely used as a stand-a-lone product for
creating or manipulating PDF files. Acrobat Professional also comes
bundled as part of Adobe Technical Communication Suite. Although
many professionals use Acrobat to annotate PDF files for post
document translation quality review cycle, it is possible to make
extensive annotations and comments in PDF with Adobe's freeware
Acrobat Reader.
